I've missed this space, and I miss SPN, and fandom, and a lot of other things.

My urban wild is (like all the other places these days), stranger, wilder, harder. But I & mine are well and I hope that's true for all the friends who read this!

Hi, hi! We've been on lockdown for over three weeks now, and to be honest, apart from having the hubby underfoot all the time now he's working from home, my day to day life hasn't changed that drastically. But - our May convention in Rome is postponed to July and even that is looking a highly unlikely date for travelling to be reinstated, and that is making me very sad. Not only because of the lost money (meep!) but you know, the thought of missing all that laughter and fun. Hey ho. That's how the pandemic cookie crumbles!

Anyway, there are a few of us still hanging out here, so it's nice to have you around too.

Hi amber! We're on lockdown here too, though thankfully going out for walks is still OK. I'm teaching online and also have hubby underfoot but that is all right by me and (as for you) not that much of a shift. I thought about all the planned cons and how people probably will not be able to go to them ) :

How are you doing? Working from home? Family underfoot? I need to get caught up on everything. I have watched SPN (up to the point that it halted), but have mostly been consumed by work and now, shifting to teaching online.

I'm working from home - 99.99% of my job can be done remotely, but when this crisis is over, we will undoubtedly go back to "NO REMOTE WORK EVAR!11!!!" mode. Which sucks, but whaddya gonna do? The Husband and The Kid are still working outside the home, so some things have changed drastically and others are fairly normal. It's weird.

So good to hear from you! It’s weird here, too, although overall not that much has changed day-to-day for me. We live a fairly quiet life of writing and music-making and I don’t mind not having to go to work. Working from home suits my introvert nature. My girls are both home from their schools and taking online classes. Finding spaces for everybody to work has been a bit of a challenge, but not unmanageable. The cat is happy, which is the most important thing :)

Stay safe and healthy and keep in touch if you want to. I do miss hearing from you and it was a welcome surprise to find your post notification in my inbox this morning!

Hi Amy! So good to hear from you too. I think I'm living in a parallel universe to yours--hubby and I at home and quite used to our mutual "quarantine" (though he is a bit more extroverted than I am.) Shifting to teaching online is a big change, and I feel for my students, but we are adjusting. Our cat is also happy. ( :

I am so glad to know you're doing OK!! I actually got kind of teary reading people's "voices" on here. I miss fanspace. <3 I need to catch up on everyone's writing.
